Why do insurance companys do this? It is nothing but prejudice and descrimination and they wouldn’t get away with this if they did it according to a persons race, so why should age be a factor?

@mackat4ck I agree with you, it is prejudice, but it is based on a little truth. Experience matters. When you first hopped into a car, i imagine you would have trouble driving, i know i did. but the more experience i got the better i became, and no matter what you say, that is reality. I agree with you, but i can see where they come from. what they need to do is drastically increase the rate at which they reduce premiums, so it becomes cheaper sooner.
